Acceptable File Formats

We can accept nearly all file formats in today's market. We do, however, have some recommended formats that we prefer.

Vector - lines, text and simple graphics

Vector formats are our preferred format for most types of signage. These types of files are created with programs like Adobe Illustrator, or CorelDraw. We like these files because they can be enlarged with no breakdown in quality.
Common Vector formats - .eps, .pdf, .ai, .cdr

Raster - photographic quality

Raster formats are the preferred choice when photographs are needed. Do not increase the file size of photographs or other artwork in any way. We prefer working with unmodified files so that we can make your sign looks its absolute best. These types of files can be created with programs like Adobe Photoshop, Corel Paint, and other paint type programs.
Common Raster formats - .psd, .tif, .jpg

Compression

Please feel free to compress your files using any off the shelf compression utility (.zip, .rar, .sit, .sitx)

Be careful using these programs to design signs:

Other programs can be used but are not recommended. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe InDesign, Quark Express are all fine programs in their own respect but are not recommended for designing quality signage. These programs are usually adequate to convey the general message of the sign. In most cases we will use the general design and recreate it in Adobe Illustrator. If one of these programs is all you have, please don't spend hours and hours designing the 'perfect' sign. Simply layout your general message and we'll make it shine. Our design team loves flexing their creative muscles!
