Walter accepting Make-A-Wish's Signs of Support Grant Application

Evansville’s 200th anniversary is next year. Evansville has changed much over the last two centuries. From a humble village on a river to a thriving river trade town to a proud supplier of P-47Ds and LSTs during World War II to recent accolades of “All-American City” in 2004 and voted the best city in the country in which “to live, work, and play” in 2008, Evansville continues to improve. I’m convinced that the reason for Evansville’s recent recognitions is the non-profit and civic organizations that are doing so much good in and for our community.

Today is the final day we are accepting applications for our annual Signs of Support Grants. Many of our Sign-A-Rama team volunteer at various organizations but as a company, the Signs of Support Grants are how we give back to this community. Thank you for all of your hard work in the Evansville area.

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” – James 1:27
