Santa Claus and Customer Appreciation

Santa, checked his list then headed to Sign-A-Rama for cookiesSanta came to check out our Customer Appreciation Days.  Little did we know that the offer of cookies would bring in such celebrities.  I suppose that as marathon runners slowly build up their endurance for a big race, sneaky present deliverers and cookie devourers need to slowly build up their endurance for a night of giving and snacking.

Sorry… cookies are for customers ONLY

As this is ‘Customer Appreciation Days’, and not ‘Give-out-cookies-to-any-random-jolly-elf-that-walks-in-the-door Days’, we felt compelled to have him purchase something. Understanding our strict policy, we started talking about some of his marketing and signage needs.  He didn’t really need a name tag – dude’s so well known it would almost be offensive to have to wear a name tag.  Signs for his workshop are equally unnecessary – true fact: besides being incredibly crafty toy builders, elves are remarkably talented sign painters.

Wrapping Santa’s Sleigh

That’s when we started talking about his selected mode of transportation… his sleigh.  He absolutely loves red. And through the years he’s done just about everything you could with red paint… metallic flakes to make it sparkly, high-gloss candy apple red (this ended up being a really bad decision due to reflections off the lead reindeer’s nose), a beautiful deep flat red that oozed elegance. But did you know that he has always wanted his sleigh wrapped? We’ll of course stay with the red theme but there is so much you could do with that as a starting point… flames, flying presents, exquisite textures, flowing ribbons, red carbon fiber… this is going to be a fun vehicle wrap project!
