The Signs of Business

Walter helps out in the engraving department

This has been a particularly busy winter for us. As you know, our owner, Walter Valiant, wears just about every hat when it comes to owning and operating a small business. This week we found him pitching in to give Christa a hand in the engraving department. A couple things I want everyone to notice:

• The floor – Have you seen such an immaculate floor in an engraving department anywhere? Ever? It’s always like this. Our team takes tremendous pride in their work and their environment. Thanks for making our place look great, team!
• The monitor – No one ever accused Walter of being frivolous. Whether it is the 1996 Toyota Camry with nearly 200,000 miles that he drives or the yellowed-with-age computer monitor in the engraving department, well-maintained equipment continues to perform exactly as needed. He also buys the best equipment he can find to ensure useful longevity. Our newest computer was delivered by Maverick Taylor of CTS on Tuesday and boasts top-of-the-line stats including 24Gb RAM… smokin’! We expect to get many years of faithful service out of this machine too.
