Slow down for the Holidays

by
November 17, 2010

As we transition into the 2010 Holiday Season, we at AmeriStamp Sign-A-Rama want to remind our team and our clients to enjoy the friends and family that we have. If the turkey isn’t cooked to perfection and the dinner fork is on the wrong side of the plate, be thankful that you have a turkey, a plate and a fork.

If I had my way, Thanksgiving and Christmas would be far simpler affairs without all the hooplah and commercialism. However, I am thankful for what this season means to the economy. :)

Now might be a really good time to take stock of the things that you are truly thankful for. To find out what you are truly thankful for, ask yourself this: “If X was not in my life, how would I feel?” ‘X’ = the people you know and the stuff you have. When your answer feels like a kick to the gut, chances are good that you are thankful for whatever your X is. For example: If my iPhone was not in my life, how would I feel? – That would be a bummer, but I bet I’d get over it… hello Android! If Kristi (my wife) was not in my life, how would I feel? – Yeah, I just got kicked in the gut.

Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas to you from the management and team of AmeriStamp Sign-A-Rama.
