Custom Photo Boards

You’ve seen them at fairs, special events, restaurants and theme parks. You may have even posed by sticking your face in the oval opening to take the guise of a pirate, a ghost buster, a bodybuilder or any number of mythical creatures. But have you ever posed as a bunny riding the best wooden roller coaster in the world?
If you go to Holiday World / Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana this summer, you can do just that. Lewis Bakeries, baker of Bunny Bread and Healthy Life Bread, displays two bread-slice-shaped photo boards for your picture taking pleasure. The boards feature Bunny (that’s what I said, Bu-u-unny Bread) and his two best friends riding the award winning wooden roller coaster, the Voyage, and Splashin’ Safari’s newest ride, the Wildebeest.Lewis Bakeries is one of the few remaining independent bakeries in the Midwest and the largest wholesale bakery in Indiana.
Holiday World / Splashin’ Safari is consistently ranked as one of the top theme parks in the U.S. and from extensive first-hand experience, I can vouch for that. I don’t know what I like most: the free soft drinks, free sunscreen, free parking, immaculately clean sidewalks, fun family atmosphere, or that first killer drop on the Voyage. It’s an all-around fun family time.
Our photo boards can be made from a variety of materials depending on the needs of the project. The Lewis Bakery photo boards used the existing wooden boards that have served Holiday World for many years. We stripped off the old image, printed and laminated the new so that it will survive the Southern Indiana summers and winters for many years to come.
Corrugated Plastic (Coro) is another material that can be used (see the Evansville Otters image below). Coro is light and can withstand a moderate amount of use.
Elvis (see below) was made by printing directly onto foamboard. This makes it very light and easy to carry around. However the foamboard (also called foamcore) is rather fragile but serves the purpose of light use for a short period of time.
