Baseball, Animals, and Golf Balls

Today we’ll talk about a few of my favorite things:

  • Baseball, in particular, the St. Louis Cardinals. Last night, Pujols hit a 15th inning single to win the game. That guy is awesome. I hope he continues to do good things for the Cardinals and for his community.
  • Animals, in particular, Donna the Hippo. Donna is considered to be the world’s oldest hippopotamus in captivity. And she lives in my hometown at the Evansville Mesker Park Zoo and Botanical Garden. Go say ‘hi’, they’re open 365 days a year from 9am-5pm.
  • Golf Balls, in particular, the golf ball drop for the Evansville Association for the Blind. This year it takes place at the Cambridge Golf Course on Friday, September 18, 2009. $10 a shot! All the proceeds go to the EAB. More info here.
